Top 3 Mandarin Pop-Song Singers That Are My All-Time Favorite

 3.Nana Lee Chien-na (李千那)
Nana Lee is a singer and actress who sings in both Mandarin and Tai-gi. I love listening to her songs in both languages. Her Tai-gi album, which was released in December 2018, is really diverse. I love every song on that album. Though it is difficult to pick from her amazing works, here are the songs that I would listen to. All the songs are about romance except for 舊衫櫥, which is a song about father-daughter relationships. 憨憨and曖昧林檎, unlike traditional Tai-gi songs, is rather upbeat. And they are about taking that leap of faith when it comes to falling in love. While the three songs in Mandarin are about heartbreaks.

 2.Fish Leong(梁靜茹)
Fish Leong is a Malaysian singer, debuted in Taiwan. Her songs that sang about love and heartbreaks are the chicken soup for the soul. She was there for me as well, so there is all the more reason for me to introduce her to people who want to dip their toes in Mandarin songs.

1. MayDay(五月天)
It's no surprise to Taiwanese that our all-time favorite band is MayDay (五月天). They started the band back when they were in high school. They are loved by many people and even teens. We always sing their songs whenever we go to karaoke.

       -There are two versions of this Tai-gi song. One is about romance the other is about friendship. Both of them are about how one will never leave the person that they love. And he or she is going to be there whenever their friend or lover needs them.

4 Songs that Remind Us of Taiwan

What Song Would Best Represent Taiwan? For most Taiwanese, I think they would say one of the following. 望春風  Bāng Chhun-hong 四季紅  Sù-kùi-âng 雨夜花  The Torment of a Flower 月夜愁 Gua̍t-iā Tshiû Or as we call it "四月望雨", for short. The songs are written in the 1930s. They are still loved by many Taiwanese, even 'till these days. How to pack for a trip to Taiwan and what to expect

Nice seeing you again! The weather in Taiwan is rather unpredictable due to geological reasons. Sometimes it would drizzle a bit, other times the rain may pour on for hours or even days.
